Where Real Change Happens At Home, In School, and In Sport
I Help Families Create Real Change Not Temporary Fixes
Who I Work Best With:
I work best with parents, athletes, teens, and young adults and couples who are already committed to growth but feel stuck in patterns of inconsistent follow through, emotional reactivity, avoidance, overwhelm, or chaotic routines.
I partner with people who are ready to implement meaningful change within 30 days. This is not work for someone who wants to simply talk about change for a year without practicing new behaviors, building new systems, or taking responsibility for the patterns that keep repeating.
My approach is structured, strategic, and action oriented. We do not just talk about the problem. We identify the pattern, understand the nervous system underneath it, and build practical tools that can be used in real life.
Before We Move Forward:
Before we begin working together, I want to make sure we are a great fit.
My work is highly structured, neuroscience informed, and especially effective for
Neurodivergent
ADHD, OCD, anxiety, emotionally disreegulated brains, anxious athletes, emotionally reactive teens, overwhelmed parents, high achieving families, and young adults who need support turning insight into action.
But it is not the right fit for everyone.
I Am Not the Right Fit If You Want Change Without Change
ADHD, OCD, anxiety, emotional reactivity, avoidance, family conflict, and inconsistent routines do not appear out of nowhere.
They are influenced by the entire ecosystem around the person.
That includes sleep, nutrition, hydration, screens, gaming, substances, family dynamics, communication patterns, emotional regulation, executive functioning, parenting consistency, school pressure, athletic pressure, peer relationships, and the nervous system’s learned response to stress.
This means we cannot only focus on the symptom.
We have to look at the system.
For example, a teen may say they are unmotivated, but underneath that may be executive dysfunction, anxiety, shame, poor sleep, too much screen stimulation, inconsistent routines, and a family pattern where one parent overfunctions while the other parent disengages.
A young athlete may look “lazy” or “checked out,” but underneath that may be performance anxiety, fear of failure, nervous system overload, perfectionism, poor recovery habits, and emotional avoidance.
A young adult with ADHD, OCD or anxiety may say they want independence, but still struggle with planning, time management, follow through, emotional regulation, and basic daily structure. That does not mean they are incapable. It means they need systems, accountability, and repeated practice.
My Approach
I specialize in reshaping long standing patterns using:
Solution Focused Therapy
Bowen Family Systems Theory
Attachment Theory
Neuroscience
Executive Function Coaching
Nervous System Regulation
Parent Strategy and Family Systems Work
Solution Focused Therapy means we focus on what is working, what needs to change, and what small actions can create momentum quickly.
Bowen Family Systems Theory helps us understand how one person’s behavior affects the entire family system. When one person is reactive, avoidant, overfunctioning, underfunctioning, rescuing, or withdrawing, the whole system adjusts around that pattern.
Attachment Theory helps us understand how people seek safety, connection, approval, distance, or control in relationships. This matters deeply with teens, young adults, athletes, and families because emotional reactivity is often a signal that the person does not feel secure, understood, or capable in that moment.
Neuroscience helps us look at what is happening in the brain and body. The prefrontal cortex is responsible for planning, impulse control, organization, and decision making. The amygdala is the brain’s threat detector. When a person is overwhelmed, anxious, ashamed, overstimulated, or emotionally flooded, the thinking brain often goes offline and the reactive brain takes over.
That is why yelling, lecturing, shaming, over-explaining, or repeating yourself usually does not work.
The brain needs structure, repetition, regulation, and clear systems.
What We Focus On
Together, we work on:
Creating predictable routines
Improving follow through
Reducing emotional reactivity
Strengthening executive functioning
Building nervous system regulation
Improving parent and teen communication
Reducing family conflict
Understanding ADHD patterns
Understanding OCD Patterns/ Compulsions
Building independence in young adults
Helping athletes manage pressure and performance anxiety
Creating structure that supports real life change
This is not about being the perfect child, student, athlete, parent, spouse or loved one!!!
It is about pattern change and having the knowledge, the tools, the strategies to change the channel and change your life.
It is about helping the person and the family move from chaos to clarity, from reactivity to regulation, and from talking about change to actually living it.
The Right Fit
You may be a great fit for this work if you are ready to stop asking, “Why does this keep happening?” and start asking, “What system needs to change so this pattern does not keep repeating?”
You may be a great fit if you want direct guidance, honest feedback, practical tools, and a structured plan.
You may be a great fit if you are ready to take action, tolerate some discomfort, and build the kind of emotional and behavioral consistency that creates long term change.
Because real change does not happen from insight alone.
Real change happens when insight becomes action, action becomes repetition, and repetition becomes a new pattern.
This Work Requires Commitment
This work is meaningful, strategic, and deeply transformational, but it requires commitment.
It requires being willing to look honestly at patterns.
It requires practicing new tools even when they feel uncomfortable.
It requires building structure when chaos has become familiar.
It requires parents to stop rescuing, stop overfunctioning, and stop using lectures as a substitute for systems.
It requires teens and young adults to begin taking ownership of their routines, choices, nervous system, and future.
It requires athletes to understand that mindset is not just motivation. Mindset is regulation, recovery, repetition, discipline, and the ability to tolerate discomfort without falling apart.
• sleep
• nutrition
• food dyes/nitrates
• hydration
• emotional regulation
• video-game load
• exercise
• routines, structure and boundaries
• family patterns
• unresolved childhood habits
• the behavior of every adult and family member involved
If you expect your child to improve while dyes, late nights, unlimited screen time, inconsistent structure, laxk of boundaries, routines or emotional chaos continue at home, the tools I teach will not work.
Therapy cannot outperform your lifestyle.
Transformation requires alignment in all areas.
I’m Also Not the Right Fit If…
• You believe ADHD is laziness, bad parenting, or “not real.”
• You want the child or partner to change while you stay the same.
• You prefer talking about problems over implementing solutions.
• You want results without routines, boundaries, or consistency.
• You listen in session but don’t follow through at home.
I work with families who want to evolve not just vent.
Who DOES Thrive Here!!!
The families I help make the fastest progress are those who:
• Understand ADHD is neurological
• Want structure, systems, and executive-function support
• Are open, curious, coachable, and ready
• Implement the tools we create
• Make lifestyle changes (sleep, nutrition, screens, routines)
• Value emotional safety, connection, and long-term wellbeing
• Want less chaos and more confidence, clarity, and calm
• Are committed to meaningful change within the next 30 days
If that sounds like you, we’re a strong match.
Ready to Take the Next Step?
Before we connect, I want to make sure we’re aligned. I work with clients who feel fully ready for transformation, not those who want to explore possibilities without commitment.
If you say YES to all 3 of these statements we can work together!!
✓ I’m ready to implement tools within the next 30 days.
✓ I’m willing to make changes inside my home, schedule, routines.
✓ I understand growth requires collaboration and discomfort.
It neans you're ready for structure, accountability, and neuroscience-backed tools that transform your home not just your child you can begin the process below.
